Meadow Primary School
FLP regularly work alongside schools up and down the country. We take great pride in knowing that we have helped to improve the outdoor learning environments of many educational establishments. One of the schools that we recently worked with is Meadow Primary School in Balsham, Cambridgeshire. Meadow Primary's main objective was to improve the facilities already in place at the school.
After a site consultation with one of our Representatives (who gave advice which was shortly followed up by a quotation) The staff at Meadow Primary decided to go ahead with the new work which cost just over £28,000.
The work at Meadow Primary involved:
-
Removal and disposal of existing equipment
-
Full excavation of the existing grounds which was turf and a bark pit
-
Provision of a Normandy Multiplay
-
Ladder Net Climb
-
Horizontal Ladder
-
Swinging Steps
-
Log Challenge
We also provided brand new Wetpour (EPDM Rubber) safer surfacing, bringing Meadow Primary's new play area in line with current legislation (EN1176 and EN1177). Where possible, FLP cause the least upheaval for our customers. This is especially important when working with schools. Therefore to ensure that Meadow Primary was caused as little disruption as possible, we removed all spoil from the site. All of our Installers / Inspectors are Police security checked to the appropriate level for working near children. Copies of the CRB checks are available on request.
