North Marston Sports Field, Buckinghamshire

We have been working alongside Local Councils to help with their specific needs and a recent case was with North Marston and Granborough Sports field where the local community had no equipment. A member of our Sales Team visited the site to offer a consultation and it was decided to provide a Fitness Trail, as this would give them a fun and varied outdoor fitness facility, something that North Marston had been lacking in.

The project at North Marston, Buckinghamshire cost just over £11,000. The units installed comprised of 15 Unit Leap Frog, Rope Climb, Log Stack, Horizontal Ladder, Run and Leap, Bench Sit ups, Balance Beams, Net Climb and Stride Jumps .To ensure its safety was inline with the current legislation and to ensure the longevity of the equipment we used Safalog laminated timber, which is the timber we always use for our equipment. The area had become too boggy and overgrown and was once grazing land and now after ten years the community can use the playing field as a fitness facility, our team of installers took four days to complete the work and as you can see from the press coverage of two local newspapers and Bucks TV www.buckstv.co.uk those four days were well worth while.

• The ordering process and help before making our final selection was very good, particularly the provision of laminated colour copies of the various items which helped us 'sell' the project to the grant giver. And Nicki and Richard were always very responsive and helpful.
