We are delighted that Fenland Leisure Products have reached the final stages of the Peterborough Business Awards for the the Customer Care category and the Environmental Achievement category.
The awards evening will be held at the Exec at the East of England Showground in the Peterborough & Cambridge Suite on Friday November 21st 2014.
Our Customer Service entry was based around the recent installation for Lambeth Borough Council on Clapham Common. The project surpassed both ours and the customers’ expectations in positive feedback and community gratitude, but did not come without continuous problem solving being on a site that needed redeveloping over previously capped World War 2 bunkers.
As well as positive feedback from the customer – we also had videos sent from the public over social media of the equipment in use as they were very happy at the new site and have pledged to visit other sites of our installations to carry out more video work. Not only did this project enhance our customers – the public – experience – but it enhanced ours in that we were given something back in the form of seeing the equipment in use as it should be. See the project in full on our Projects Page.
Our entry into the Environmental Category outline the actions that we take to reduce the company’s carbon footprint. FLP do strive to utilise free energy in as many ways as possible. Committed to using waste biomass for heating, harvesting rainwater for use in company facilities, we are also now running on our own renewed heat and power. In an effort to be more eco friendly and being in the fenland area, we are taking the advantage of being able to generate our own energy in a commercial capacity. With our brand new ‘on roof’ 40KWP PV System – we are running FLP on sunshine!
