Chapel Break Infant School, Norfolk

The Project

FLP regularly work alongside schools up and down the country and we take great pride in knowing that we have helped to improve the outdoor learning environments of many educational establishments. One of the schools that we recently worked with is Chapel Break Infant School in Norwich, Norfolk.

After a site consultation with one of our representatives (who gave advice which was shortly followed up by a quotation) The staff at Chapel Break decided to go ahead with the new work with a budget of £20,000

Our onsite work involved the removal and disposal of existing equipment, preparation for an engineered stone base ready to received the full colour wetpour safety surfacing and the installation of a Gallon Play Ship.

The new Wetpour (EPDM Rubber) safer surfacing that was installed provides an eye-catching area that compliments the equipment with the design and colours used as well as providing a safe play environment for children complying with current legislation (EN1176 and EN1177).

In addition to the Galleon project an additional order was placed by the school to turn an unusable embankment into a Amphitheater. This work involved stabilising  the existing soil embankment and providing a stage like structure all manufactured from ACQ pressure treated timber.

Where possible, FLP caused the least upheaval for our customers. This is especially important when working with schools. All of our Installers / Inspectors are Police security checked to the appropriate level for working near children. Copies of the CRB checks are available on request.
